Happy Christmas Eve, all!
Thank you all for the awesome congratulations yesterday! Better believe I’ll be enjoying some eggnog tonight with my folks. We Chileans celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve—dinner, presents at midnight, the whole shebang. Hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas!
I’m back from the Full Frame Documentary Festival in North Carolina, everyone! While I shuffle through all of the photos I took here’s one of the gardenias outside my parents’ house. Spring was so beautiful in NC.

New York City in Bokeh
These shots were taken last night as my friends and I reveled in my last night in New York City before I headed to North Carolina to visit my parents for the holidays. There were so many pretty city lights that I couldn’t resist taking them as bokeh.
Instead of finishing up my papers, I was out taking pictures and drinking. Even though I’m a total nerd, I doubt I’ll ever look back on my life and think, “I should have written more papers.” At least I got some cool photos and memories from it. And a gnarly hangover for my early morning flight.
