GPO Your Dad W
So one thing I love to do is to take pictures of people taking pictures of me. If you want to see what I mean, just check out this photo. For more examples, click here and here. I think I may love doing this more than reflection shots. Interestingly enough, he can see my reflection in my dad’s sunglasses also. Two for one!

Family portraits
One of my favorite things to do is take portraits. While I was in Miami I constantly had the camera in front of my family member’s faces. After all awhile they warmed up to me and just acted naturally around the camera. I think they realized I’m not a big fan of posed photos.
My cousin contemplating life:

My lovely abuelita:

My lovely aunt (she had just been crying and I asked her if I could take her picture because she looked so beautiful with all that emotion):

My uncle and his grand-nephew:

My cousin’s little toddler (I love sleeping babies):

Christmas in North Carolina
I can’t believe it’s already February! These photos are from December when I visited my parents for Christmas and it only seems like yesterday that I was there. My parents are definitely my favorite (and oftentimes my most willing) subjects. I love shooting their portraits.
Coincidentally the last photo is the one I submitted for Celeste’s Interpretations of Beauty Tumblr. You guys should check it out!

Adventures in Snow
Growing up in Florida, there weren’t many chances for me to play in the snow, so when North Carolina got several inches I convinced my parents to make a snowman with me. It was so much fun! My first snowman at the age of 23—he came out quite lovely for my first try.
Then my dad decided it was time for our first snowball fight. I think he won. This time…

All photos taken by mom except the family portrait on my Canon EOS Rebel XSi.
