Made it to Chicago to see the lovely lindseycathryn! But I’m currently holed up in a Starbucks writing a few articles until she gets out of work. Also I have a ton of writing to do. I’m such an awful procrastinator.

Happy New Year from Las Vegas, everyone! Hope you aren’t all nursing too bad of a hangover ;)
From my last trip to the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens. Perhaps the coolest museum ever made. I’m going tonight to see Martha, Marcy, May, Marlene there tonight. Elizabeth Olsen and John Hawkes, who star in the film, are both going to be there. So excited!
If you guys ever find yourself in Astoria, Queens, definitely check out the Museum. Right across the street is the Kaufman Studios where many popular TV shows are filmed.
Rereading this because I can’t help myself. It’s one of my favorites. I take comfort in its familiarity, but at the same time I revel in how it’s always different every time I read it.

Lovely send off from South Florida.
Continuing the HP love-a-thon by making some delicious Butterbeer and drinking it out of my Butterbeer mug.
Recipe for deliciousness (makes about 4 cups):
4 cups Vanilla ice cream
4 cups cream soda
1/4 cup Butterscotch syrup
Mix all together in a blender. Pour in a frosted cup and enjoy!
