Like I said, when my parents were in town I was unabashedly a tourist. I have lived in NYC more than 2 years now and I had never walked across the Brooklyn Bridge (despite working like 2 blocks away from it). It’s quite the lovely experience at sunset!

More food pictures! These are of afternoon tea at Tea & Sympathy in Greenwich Village. Highly recommend it if you are looking for great tea, ambiance and some Shepard’s (or Banoffee!) pie.

Perk of my parents being in town? I got to be a tourist without actually feeling bad about it. This city really is lovely.

Last week my parents were in town for my graduation. Hadn’t seen them in months. It was nice having them around.

The Black Keys in concert: My favorite shots

So back in March, you guys might remember me mentioning that I was going to see The Black Keys in concert at Madison Square Garden. It was a complete impulse buy! I received an email from Ticketmaster that tickets were still available two days before the concert and I jumped at the chance to get tickets. I’m so glad I did. They were amazing live. I only wish I had been in the pit, even though it is pretty nice to get to sit down in between acts.

At the end of the concert, they busted out a Disco ball and lit up all of Madison Square Garden.

If you guys get the chance, definitely see them live!

Even in a sea of people Tom Hiddleston stands out.

Beautiful man is beautiful.
Last night I had the pleasure of attending The Avengers premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. I got some lovely shots of all the celebs that walked down the red carpet! To read more about my adventures, visit my film blog.
