A slice of Durham.
Back in September I went home for my Birthday/Labor Day weekend and got tons of shots of everyday life in Durham. Now that I’m going home for Thanksgiving, I’m excited to shoot some more. I think it’s interesting to shoot a place you’ve been a million times. It allows you to get creative and to try to see things different.
Taken on with my Pentax K1000 on Portra 160NC.
So back in 2005, right before I started college, I took part in a wilderness adventure called Project Wild, in which pre-Frosh went out into the NC mountains for two weeks. It was an amazing and beautiful adventure. I took a disposable camera with me and most of the photos came out a lot better than I expected! For some reason, I hadn’t developed the camera since I finished it back in 2005, so I decided to while I was here in NC visiting my folks. I found them so interesting I had to share them with you guys. If you look closely, in the last photo I’m third from the right.
