Views from the Park Hyatt Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

If you guys recall, at the beginning of the month I went to Abu Dhabi for work. The experience was once in a million. The Institute I was working with graciously put us up at a 5-star hotel with amazing views. The weather was beautiful (albeit very hot at 100 F most days), the pools immaculate, the ocean crystal clear and the city itself was much more progressive than I would have thought. It was a lot of work, but I’m glad I ended going on this trip. I’d love to go back. Abu Dhabi is very modern and new city that reminded me a lot of my hometown Miami. Any you guys ever been?

I made it safely to Abu Dhabi, guys! Thank you all for your well wishes. Haven’t gotten much of a chance to see anything yet, but I’m seriously jet-lagged (it’s 1am here and I’m hardly sleepy), so I’m just goofing off. How are you all doing?

Christmas in Florida

Unlike my current state, I spent my Christmas with my family in Florida. This year, it wasn’t too hot down there but rather a nice 70 degrees. It was super nice to get out of the city too and see my family. I really missed them even though they can drive me crazy.

Look at the beautiful sky that greeted me as I touched down in Miami.

Oh how I missed Florida sunsets and palm trees. Why did I leave again?

Beautiful skies and weather during almost my entire trip.

I had to throw in a bokeh Christmas tree in here!

A nice Piña Colada with my friend Sarah.

Slightly cloudy but heading to the beach nonetheless. The cruise ships are about to take off!

Palm trees for days. #palmtreeporn

There’s nothing better than the beach, my friends. And I don’t mean for tanning. I love the beach on slightly colder days when you can’t real go in for a dip. I just love the tranquility of the sea, even if sand does get up my bum.

Did you all have a nice Holiday break?
